贊曰：上明外果、下明內果。於中有三：初啟請、次廣答、後佛滅度後勸生於彼。啟請有三：一請儀、二歎勝、三正請。此中具二：「作禮」以上請儀、「白佛」以下歎勝。

The Eulogy says: The above explained the external fruit; below explains the internal fruit. Within this there are three: first, the opening request; next, the extensive answer; finally, the exhortation to be born there after the Buddha's parinirvāṇa. The opening request has three parts: first, the etiquette of requesting; second, praising the excellence; third, the actual request. Here, two are present: up to 'homage' is the etiquette of requesting; from 'said to the Buddha' downwards is praising the excellence.
