The commentary says: Explaining the trees expounding the Dharma. The breeze is a metaphor for great compassion, which spontaneously strikes the trees of conventional and ultimate wisdom; as they brush against each other they talk and expound such dharmas as these. That is to say, the oppressed intrinsic nature of all tainted phenomena is suffering; that the substance of dharmas is entirely absent from what is grasped is called emptiness; the conditioned begins and ends, constantly changing, arising and ceasing; there is no overall self-entity, no single, eternal, real self. Because of this, it is able to cause all practitioners to cross over to the other shore; hence it is called pāramitā.
