The commentary says: The third major section explaining the fulfillment of vows concerns the great deity creating the throne. Here there are ten points; in this passage there are two: First, the height and breadth of the throne. The pure dharmadhātu inwardly contains the four virtues; the throne of the nirmāṇakāya is four yojanas high. Second, its adornment with gold and jewels, because it is adorned by the wisdom practices of the three karmas. Regarding the 'seven treasures,' the three texts differ. The *Sūtra on Immeasurable Life* says: 'gold, silver, lapis lazuli, crystal, coral, agate, and musāragalva.' The *Gaṅgā River Sūtra* says: 'gold, silver, coral, pearl, musāragalva, bright-moon pearl, and maṇi jewel.' The *Buddhabhūmi-śāstra* says: '1. gold, 2. silver, 3. vaiḍūrya, 4. sphaṭika, 5. musāragalva (equivalent to chequ), 6. aśmagarbha (equivalent to manao), 7. red pearl.' Although there are indranīla, mahānīla, stone-matrix, and vajra-matrix, they are not commonly treasured, and hence are mostly not mentioned. The three texts correspond to the differing preferences of various regions; the reasons for their differences need not be explained.
