經曰「佛告阿難」以下，第二佛許說。言彌勒出現者，正許佛問，兼許時問也、國土豐樂也。弟子多小者，許弟子翼從也。

From where the sūtra states "The Buddha addressed Ānanda..." onward is the second, the Buddha consenting to speak. Regarding "Maitreya's appearance in the world": this directly consents to the inquiry about the Buddha, and also consents to the inquiry about the time and the abundance and joy of the realm. "The number of disciples, whether many or few" consents to [speaking of] the disciples and attendants.
