經曰「身紫金色」以下,第四終後生相。身紫金色者,表當生最第一故則艶𧰟。言如百千日者,表常相之眾生癡破也。
From the text of the sūtra where it says, "His body, purple-golden in color" onwards, this is the fourth [section], [explaining] the appearance of birth after death. That his body is purple-golden in color signifies that his upcoming birth will be supreme and foremost, hence it is radiant. Saying that it is "like a hundred thousand suns" signifies the shattering of the ignorance of sentient beings bound to the notions of permanence.
