From the sūtra's words 'Within that light' downward is the third [section], summoning through vyākaraṇa. In this there are two: first is the recipient of the vyākaraṇa, and second is the bestowal of the vyākaraṇa itself, which may be understood accordingly. As for the 'great transformation Buddha,' in order to manifest the matter of Maitreya's ascent to rebirth and to guide [beings] to understand that it is not the real, it is therefore called a transformation Buddha. And because the divine transformations of all Buddhas are inconceivable, it is called 'great.'
