肇曰：顯淨土於未聞，猶開聾瞽於形聲也。生曰：既悟其義，而據自疑已前為本，故云本不見聞也。從不見聞而悟之，則佛土為好淨悉現也。

[Seng]zhao says: Revealing the pure land to what was previously unheard is like opening the deaf and blind to forms and sounds. / [Dao]sheng says: Having understood its meaning, he took what preceded his own doubt as 'originally'; hence he says, 'originally neither seen nor heard.' Awakening from what was neither seen nor heard, the buddha-land is completely manifested as splendidly pure.
