肇曰：生死雖苦，背之至難；涅槃雖樂，識之者寡。自非深經，孰啟其路？生曰：既達因緣法，則知息之為樂矣。
[Seng]zhao says: Although saṃsāra is suffering, turning away from it is exceedingly difficult; although nirvāṇa is bliss, those who recognize it are few. Were it not for the profound sūtras, who could open this road? [Dao]sheng says: Having understood the law of dependent origination, one knows that its cessation is bliss.
