肇曰：一生大士豈有如斯之惡咎，聞而後離耶？發斯言者，為未離者耳。
[Seng]zhao says: How could a mahāsattva of one remaining birth have such evil faults that he would abandon them only after hearing this? His uttering these words is for the sake of those who have not yet abandoned them.
