生曰：實相理均，豈有深淺哉？世間情與之反，信受甚難，非其所及，故為深也。
[Dao]sheng says: The principle of true mark is uniform; how could it possess depth or shallowness? The sentiments of the world run contrary to it, so believing and accepting it are exceedingly difficult. Being beyond what [worldly minds] can reach, it is therefore 'profound.'
