10.58

什曰：言此經能令人不退，成六度也。肇曰：不退所以至六度，六度所以成大乘，大乘之所出莫不由斯典也。生曰：非但不退而已，乃極諸法邊涯焉。

[Kumāra]jīva says: This means that this sūtra can cause one not to retrogress and can fulfill the six pāramitās. [Seng]zhao says: Non-retrogression is that whereby one reaches the six pāramitās; the six pāramitās are that whereby one fulfills the Mahāyāna; and that from which the Mahāyāna emerges is none other than these scriptures. [Dao]sheng says: It is not merely non-retrogression alone; it reaches the utmost boundaries of all dharmas.
