肇曰：不久，似明無常義。然水上泡，以虛中無實故不久立，猶空義耳。
[Seng]zhao says: 'Unable to endure for long' seems to clarify the meaning of impermanence. Yet a bubble on the water cannot stand for long precisely because it is hollow within and lacks substantiality; it is likewise the meaning of emptiness.
