Another edition reads: 'The Dharma is identical to thusness, dharma-nature, and the reality-limit.' [Kumāra]jīva says: "These three are the same single reality. Because there are depths and shallows at the time of contemplation, there are three names. When first seeing its reality, it is called 'thusness'; when growing deeper, it is called 'nature'; when exhausting its limits, it is called the 'reality-limit'. Because beginners are dragged by the six sense faculties, their minds change following objects: at the time of contemplation they see identity, but when emerging they see difference; hence he clarifies that all dharmas are identical to these three dharmas."
