2.346

什曰：指會成拳，故無自性。指亦如是，故無他性也。肇曰：諸法如幻，從因緣生，豈自他之可得？夫有自故有他、有他故有自，無自則無他、無他亦無自也。

[Kumāra]jīva says: Fingers meeting form a fist, so it has no self-nature. Fingers are also like this, so it has no other-nature. [Seng]zhao says: All dharmas are like illusions, arising from causes and conditions; how could self and other be found? When there is self, there is other; when there is other, there is self. Without self, there is no other; without other, there is no self.
