生曰：更申前語也。食事雖麁，其理自妙。要當於諸法得等，然後可等之矣。

[Dao]sheng says: This reiterates the preceding statement. Although the matter of food is coarse, its principle is inherently subtle. One must attain equality regarding all dharmas, and only thereafter can one be equal to it.
