什曰：出家不以摧物而諸惡自消，猶如日出眾冥自滅也。肇曰：日月不期去闇而闇自除，出家不期摧外道而外道自消也。

[Kumāra]jīva says: Going forth does not aim at crushing others, yet all evils naturally vanish, just as when the sun rises, all darkness naturally disappears. [Seng]zhao says: The sun and moon do not intend to remove darkness, yet darkness naturally dispels; going forth does not intend to crush non-Buddhists, yet non-Buddhists naturally dissolve.
