什曰：佛常在世，於罪者為難耳。肇曰：淨名知其不得出家而勸之者，欲發其無上道心耳。

[Kumāra]jīva says: “A buddha is always in the world; it is only difficult for those with offenses.” [Seng]zhao says: “The Pure Name knew that they could not go forth, yet encouraged them because he wished to arouse their resolve for the unexcelled Way.”
