生曰：解阿難意，使得取乳也。實如維摩詰語，但佛應五濁惡世，自應爾。
[Dao]sheng says: "This explains Ānanda's intention so that he could proceed to obtain the milk. It is truly as Vimalakīrti said, yet because the Buddha responds to the evil world of the five turbidities, it is naturally fitting to be so."
