3.37

什曰：迦葉，母姓也。富蘭那，字也。其人起邪見，謂一切法無所有，如虛空不生滅也。肇曰：姓迦葉、字富蘭那。其人起邪見，謂一切法斷滅性空，無君臣父子忠孝之道也。

[Kumāra]jīva says: Kāśyapa was his maternal clan name; Pūraṇa was his personal name. This man gave rise to the false view that all dharmas have nothing that exists, being like empty space, neither arising nor ceasing. [Seng]zhao says: His clan name was Kāśyapa; his personal name was Pūraṇa. This man gave rise to the false view that all dharmas are annihilated and intrinsically empty, and that there is no way of loyalty and filial piety between ruler and minister or father and son.
