3.49

生曰：既不見佛聞法，是受道於邪見之師，因其得為邪出家也。順在六師之理是悟之所由，為師又從以成出家道也。

[Dao]sheng says: Since he does not see the Buddha and does not hear the Dharma, he receives the path from teachers of false views and, relying on them, becomes a heterodox renunciant. Conforming to the principle present in the six masters is the means of awakening; taking them as teachers, one furthermore follows them to accomplish the path of homelessness.
