3.67

肇曰：眾魔，四魔也。共為□塵勞之黨侶也。生曰：施能造果謂之為業。若於業生邪，致受三界報者，為勞苦眾生也。斯則邪見與業為侶，然後得之三界報矣。而此業成勞，乃與魔所作同，故云共一手。順在既得正見，不異於魔所作勞侶也。

[Seng]zhao says: 'All Māras' refers to the four māras. Together they form a band of companions in the toil of defilements. [Dao]sheng says: Giving that can produce a result is called karma. If one gives rise to heterodoxy with respect to karma, causing one to receive retribution in the three realms, it creates toilsome suffering for sentient beings. Thus false view and karma become companions, and afterward one obtains retribution in the three realms. As this karma constitutes toil, it is the same as what is done by Māra; hence it says 'join hands'. In conforming [to the real], once right view is attained, it is not different from being companions in the toil wrought by Māra.
