3.87

肇曰：若於弟子中解空第一，既知化之無心、亦知法之如化，以此而聽，曷為而懼？生曰：化既無懼，諸法如化亦不得生懼也。

[Seng]zhao says: If he was foremost among the disciples in understanding emptiness, since he already knew that an apparition is without mind and also knew that dharmas are like apparitions, hearing this with such [understanding], why should he be afraid? [Dao]sheng says: Since an apparition has no fear, dharmas being like apparitions should likewise not give rise to fear.
