4.102

肇曰：會其所求，故尋問也。生曰：夫得佛由行，行乃是道之場矣，然寄在地成，地有其名耳。既據答於常，是從地來也。又迹在不闇，故復得問何所是，以招下答之焉。

[Seng]zhao says: It matched what he was seeking, so he probed further. [Dao]sheng says: Attaining buddhahood arises from practice, and practice is indeed the place of enlightenment; yet provisionally relying on the ground for its realization, the ground merely has that name. Since the answer relied on ordinary convention, he came from the ground. Furthermore, his traces were not obscure, so he could further ask what it is, eliciting the following response.
