什曰：道品斷受生，故名捨有為。亦以空空三昧等捨三三昧及一切善法，故名捨也。肇曰：三十七品，無為之因也。

[Kumāra]jīva says: The factors of awakening cut off taking rebirth, and are thus called abandoning the conditioned. They also use the emptiness-of-emptiness samādhi and others to abandon the three samādhis and all wholesome dharmas; hence it is called abandoning. [Seng]zhao says: The thirty-seven factors of awakening are the cause of the unconditioned.
