4.184

什曰：女人從主為心，屬魔則受邪教、屬菩薩則從道化，故受而誨之。肇曰：在魔故從欲教，在我宜從道教也。生曰：既以與我，便屬於我，不得不從我教也。

[Kumāra]jīva says: Women take their master's mind as their own; belonging to Māra they receive false teachings, but belonging to a bodhisattva they follow transformation into the Way. Hence he accepted them and instructed them. [Seng]zhao says: Being with Māra, they complied with teachings of desire; being with me, it is fitting that they follow the teachings of the Way. [Dao]sheng says: Having been given to me, they belong to me and cannot but follow my instruction.
