什曰：心無近著、心不邪疑，又能信諸佛有不思議法，故能聞深法心不生畏也。肇曰：樂法之情不深者，聞深法必生畏也。

[Kumāra]jīva says: The mind is free from nearsighted attachment, free from erroneous doubt, and able to have faith that the buddhas have inconceivable dharmas; hence upon hearing profound dharmas, fear does not arise in the mind. [Seng]zhao says: For one whose love of the Dharma is not deep, upon hearing profound dharmas, fear surely arises.
