4.70

什曰：智慧是菩提，知他心也。實相是智之因，亦名知他心也。肇曰：菩提不有，故無生滅。菩提不無，故了知眾生心也。

[Kumāra]jīva says: Wisdom is bodhi; it knows the minds of others. The true mark is the cause of wisdom, and is also called knowing the minds of others. [Seng]zhao says: Bodhi is not existent, so it is without arising and ceasing. Bodhi is not non-existent, so it thoroughly comprehends the minds of sentient beings.
