5.10

什曰：此文不便，依經本應言以要言說法，謂能簡要之言折繁理也。肇曰：善以約言而舉多義，美其善得說法之要趣也。

[Kumāra]jīva says: This phrasing is awkward; according to the sūtra text, it should say 'he explains the Dharma with concise words,' meaning he can use succinct speech to unravel complex principles. [Seng]zhao says: He skillfully uses concise words to present manifold meanings, praising his skillful grasp of the essential purport in explaining the Dharma.
