生曰：苟為病切所牽，不得不推病理也。病理是無，何能牽我哉？夫從緣起者已自非有，況乎惑想顛倒所生者哉？
[Dao]sheng says: If one is dragged along by the intensity of sickness, one cannot but investigate the principle of illness. If the principle of illness is non-existent, how could it drag me along? That which arises from conditions is already non-existent in itself, how much more so that which is produced by deluded thoughts and inversions?
