5.251

如佛所說：若自有縛，能解彼縛無有是處；若自無縛，能解彼縛斯有是處。是故菩薩不應起縛。何謂縛？何謂解。

"As the Buddha said: 'If one is oneself bound, that one could untie the bondage of others is impossible; if one is oneself free of bondage, that one can untie the bondage of others is possible.' Therefore, a bodhisattva should not give rise to bondage. What is called bondage? What is called liberation?"
