5.296

[Kumāra]jīva says: The practices of ordinary people are of three kinds: wholesome, unwholesome, and immovable practice. Immovable practice is the practice of the form and formless realms. The lifespan and number of kalpas in the upper two realms are long-lasting, and non-Buddhists take them to be permanent; this is the meaning of 'immovable.' The Buddha also names them in accordance with what the world calls them.
