什曰：四攝法也。四攝是愛念眾生法，今明愛而不著也。肇曰：四攝攝彼，慈惠之極。視彼猶己而能無著也。

[Kumāra]jīva says: These are the four means of gathering. The four means of gathering are dharmas of affectionate concern for sentient beings; here it is clarified that one loves them without attachment. [Seng]zhao says: Gathering them through the four means of gathering is the utmost of compassion and benevolence. He regards them as himself, yet is able to be free from attachment.
