什曰：雖觀此四法，而不永滅而取證也。肇曰：小乘觀身受心法，離而取證。菩薩雖觀此四，不永離而取證也。

[Kumāra]jīva says: Although contemplating these four dharmas, he does not enter permanent extinction and attain realization. [Seng]zhao says: The Hinayāna contemplates body, feeling, mind, and dharmas, separating from them to attain realization. Although the bodhisattva contemplates these four, he does not permanently separate from them to attain realization.
