生曰：魔樂生死則住其中矣。若不就化，永與之乖，豈得使悟有宗理乎。
[Dao]sheng says: If the māras take delight in saṃsāra, they abide in its midst. If one does not approach to transform them, one will be eternally contrary to them; how then could one cause them to awaken to the fundamental principle of existence?
