肇曰：濟彼苦難、導以大乘，大悲之能。慈欲彼樂，亦導以大乘，可名大悲也。
[Seng]zhao says: Rescuing them from suffering and difficulties, and guiding them by means of the Mahāyāna, is the function of great compassion. Loving-kindness desires their happiness and also guides them by means of the Mahāyāna; thus it can be called great compassion.
