什曰：天以此未曾有室無雜教，故毀賤小乘、顯揚大道，所以共為影響發明勝致也。生曰：雖曰天力使然，招之自有在矣。

[Kumāra]jīva says: The goddess used this unprecedented room free of mixed teachings to disparage the Hīnayāna and illuminate the Great Path, thereby resonating with each other to reveal the supreme import. [Dao]sheng says: Though it was caused by the goddess's power, what invited it certainly lay within [the disciples].
