6.264

肇曰：若見己有所得，必見他不得。此於佛平等之法，猶為增上慢人，何能致無閡之辨乎？生曰：若有得者則不得也。以不得為得，增上慢矣。

[Seng]zhao says: If one sees oneself as having an attainment, one must see others as not having it. Within the Buddha's equal Dharma, this still makes one a person of excessive pride; how could one achieve unobstructed eloquence? [Dao]sheng says: If there is attainment, then it is non-attainment. Taking non-attainment as attainment is excessive pride.
