6.44

肇曰：迦葉將明大小之殊，抑揚時聽，故非分者宜致絕望之泣，己分者宜懷頂受之歡也。

[Seng]zhao says: Kāśyapa is about to clarify the distinction between Mahāyāna and Hīnayāna, steering the contemporary audience; hence those for whom it is not their share should weep in despair, while those for whom it is their share should cherish the joy of receiving it on their heads.
