6.83

生曰：理常皎然若此，而眾生乖之彌劫。菩薩既以悟之，能不示諸？此假為觀意設念，非實念也。

[Dao]sheng says: The principle is constantly radiant like this, yet sentient beings deviate from it for kalpas upon kalpas. The bodhisattva, having awakened to it, could he fail to reveal it? This is an intentional thought framed for the sake of the contemplation, not an actual thought.
