肇曰：五通為象馬，大乘為上車，一心為御者，遊於八正道也。生曰：八正為通衢而遊其上矣。
[Seng]zhao says: With the five superknowledges as elephants and horses, the Mahāyāna as the noble carriage, and the one-pointed mind as the charioteer, they travel upon the eightfold correct path.
[Dao]sheng says: The eightfold correct [path] is the thoroughfare upon which they travel.
