什曰：言其謙下，為物所凌踐，忍受無慢，猶如橋梁也。肇曰：使物皆踐我上，取卑下之極也。
[Kumāra]jīva says: This speaks of their humility and yielding; being trampled upon by others, they endure it without arrogance, just like a bridge. [Seng]zhao says: Letting all beings trample over oneself represents reaching the utmost limit of humility.
