什曰：佛種姓即是無生忍，得是深忍名曰法生，則已超出下賤入佛境也。肇曰：得無生忍必繼佛種，名生佛種姓中也。

[Kumāra]jīva says: The lineage of the buddhas is none other than the forbearance of non-arising. Attaining this profound forbearance is called being 'born of the Dharma', which means one has already transcended the lowly and entered the realm of the buddhas. [Seng]zhao says: Attaining the forbearance of non-arising ensures continuation of the Buddha's lineage; this is termed being born into the lineage of the buddhas.
