8.168

肇曰：無量福慧即香飯之因。夫有無量之因，必有無量之果。若因可量，果亦可量。如來無量福慧，豈是聲聞小智所能量乎？

[Seng]zhao says: Boundless merit and wisdom are the cause of the fragrant food. Now, where there is a boundless cause, there must be a boundless fruit. If the cause could be measured, the fruit could also be measured. How could the Tathāgata's boundless merit and wisdom be measured by the small wisdom of a śrāvaka?"
