什曰：癡有二種，一者一切法中癡、二者於諸佛深法中不能明了。不淨國中有二種癡，淨國中唯有佛法中不了癡也。
[Kumāra]jīva says: There are two kinds of ignorance: first, ignorance regarding all dharmas; second, the inability to understand clearly the profound dharmas of the buddhas. Impure lands have both kinds of ignorance; pure lands have only the ignorance of not fully understanding the Buddha's teachings.
