肇曰：塵垢易增、功德難具，自非一心專求，無以剋成。具此八法，則行無瘡疣，終生淨土矣。

[Seng]zhao says: Defilements easily increase, while merits are difficult to complete; unless one seeks them single-mindedly and exclusively, there is no way to accomplish them. Endowed with these eight dharmas, one's practice will be without blemish, and one will ultimately be born in a pure land.
