肇曰：明，慧明也。無明，癡冥也。見無明性，即是為明。若見明為明，即是無明，故不可取也。
[Seng]zhao says: Clarity is the illumination of wisdom. Ignorance is the darkness of delusion. Seeing the nature of ignorance is itself clarity. If one sees clarity as clarity, that is itself ignorance; therefore it cannot be grasped.
