[Kumāra]jīva says: In impermanence, there is no dharma that is not extinguished. Because it is extinguished without being severed, one cultivates goodness without tire. It is also contemplated that impermanence is the path to nirvāṇa; the path to nirvāṇa turns away from the roots of goodness. Now, not abiding in the unconditioned, one therefore does not weary of existence.
