肇曰：備修上法，則不證無為。證，謂觀無為自證道成，自證道成即住無為也。
[Seng]zhao says: Fully cultivating the above dharmas, they do not realize the unconditioned. "Realize" means contemplating the unconditioned and personally realizing the attainment of the Way; personally realizing the attainment of the Way is to abide in the unconditioned.
