肇曰：不可以善善，不可以惡惡。生曰：六度以誠實為道也。而誠有誠者則不誠矣。無誠不誠，然後誠耳。

[Seng]zhao says: It cannot be deemed good through good, nor evil through evil. [Dao]sheng says: The six pāramitās take truthfulness and sincerity as their Way. But if sincerity takes itself to have sincerity, then it is not sincere. Only when there is neither sincerity nor non-sincerity is it sincere.
