肇曰，大包天地，不可為小。細入無間，不可為大。能大能小者，其唯無大小乎？生曰？言小則大包天地，言大則細入無間。

[Seng]zhao says: Encompassing heaven and earth in its greatness, it cannot be small. Entering into the interval-less in its minuteness, it cannot be large. As for that which can be large and can be small, could it be anything other than without largeness or smallness? [Dao]sheng says: If one calls it small, its greatness encompasses heaven and earth; if one calls it large, its minuteness enters into the interval-less.
